Boy to be Awarded Scholarship for Excitedly Taking Photos of Okowa

Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, the governor of Delta State may be awarding long-term scholarship to the resilient young boy  who is caught taking photos of him during an inspection on Monday, December 16.

The governor posted a selfie with the boy on social media with the caption:

Yesterday, this young boy from Warri had been smiling and taking pictures of me during my inspection of our construction projects.

At some point, seeing his resilience — I had to ask him: “Wouldn’t you like to take a selfie?” 

The public thereby request that Okowa offers him a full-time scholarship.

"The young boy who is not looking good and so he needs proper care with good education sponsorship to the University level."
