The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has reduced the withdrawal charge attached to banks’ automated teller machines (ATM) from N65 to N35 and, this is to take effect by January 2020.
According to a social media journalist, Bashir Ahmad, the information is a contained in a document entitled, ‘Guide to Bank Charges’ released by the apex bank, today, December 23.
Below is the Revisions for all banks:
Electronic transfers:
N10 for trans less than N5000
N25 for trans btwn N5,001 - N50,000
N50 for trans above N50,000
ATM Withdrawal:
N35 (previously N65) after 3rd withdrawal in a month, on another banks ATM.
Card Maintenance:
N50 every 3 months for Savings
N0 for Current
