Google Honours Nigerian Iconic Filmmaker Late Amaka Igwe with New Doodle

Google celebrates and honours late Nigerian filmmaker and broadcasting executive, Amaka Igwe with it's new goodle doodle.

The doodle pays tribute to the award-winning writer, filmmaker and broadcasting executive credited with raising the bar in Nollywood and fighting for global awareness of the Nigerian film industry.
Quoting a source on scial media, Google's doodle is today dedicated to late Nigerian filmmaker and broadcasting executive Amaka Igwe who was born on this day in 1963. She was the owner of Top Radio 90.9 Lagos and Amaka Igwe Studios. 
She was recognized as one of the second generation filmmakers who helped begin the video film era of Nigerian cinema. She remained a prominent figure in the industry until her death in 2014.
