Rabi was said to have stabbed her husband in the stomach after they had had a misunderstanding at their home on Monday, January 27.
Public Relations Officer, Katsina State Police Command, SP Gambo Isah who confirmed the incident, narrated that neighbours heard the deceased shouting for help and tried to enter the house only to discover that the gate had already been locked.
According to Gamba, the neighbours entered the house through the fence and met the deceased struggling to come out of his room with blood all over him.
The victim who was rushed to a nearby hospital, died on the way.
According to an eyewitness from Ruboi, "The marauding herdsmen burnt almost all houses in Ruboi. No house was spared."
Another eyewitness who confirmed the incident said that the herdsmen killed seventeen person, leaving five injured and several houses burnt.
"The first attack started at 7:30pm and continued, the second one was from around 8:00pm to 4:00am", the witness added.
The witness also said that they had called for intervention but military didn't show up until it was too late.
"We saw their faces, they were Fulani herdsmen and they all wore black", he confirmed.
"There was no disagreement, they wrote on our walls that they were going to drive us away from the land because they said the land belonged to them.
"During the attack, they were shouting 'Plateau belongs to us!', 'Bokkos belongs to us!'.
"They want our land and are killing us to take it because the government is silent."
Bryant was one of five people killed when a private helicopter went down in Calabasas, California, on Sunday, killing everyone on board. He was 41 years old.

According to SaharaReporters, Musa, a resident of the area, confirmed that two suicide bombers strapped with IED had entered the mosque during afternoon prayer before the explosion occurred.
"The bombing happened around Guduf Nagadiyo at Bulabaulin in Gwoza. A 12-year-old boy was killed, while others sustained injuries," Musa told SaharaReporters, adding that soldiers from 192 battalion of the Nigerian Army had been deployed to the spot to forestall against any further attack.
